Top Marketing Agencies Use Data To Drive Their Marketing Results.

Top Marketing Agencies Understand Each Brand Has A Unique Opportunity To Cultivate A Community.
Cultivating a commuity creates loyal brand enthusiasts that will “buy” from you. Constantly spending transactional advertising dollars trying to “sell” people doesn’t work long term.

Properly cultivating a community in this digital world varies largely depending on the type of audience you are looking to cultivate.
The two major disciplines in building brand influence digitally are Search Engine Optimization and Social Media. These disciplines work together to build your brands authority and equity which results in the right eye balls seeing you and more profits.

Top Marketing Agencies Understand The Difference Between Transactional & Brand Advertising.
A transactional ad is for a possible sale today. Brand advertising is a long term brand building strategy for today and the future. The equity and authority that your brand builds with your target demographic is what creates profits long term. Building brand equity is the only way for your brand to be relevant in the future.
Smart consumers today can easily recognize your underlying intent by how you decided to deliver your brands message. Strategically distributing the right brand messaging, in the right way, in front of your prospective target demographic is what wins. Brand advertising over time builds massive equity for your brand.
Brand Equity Is Priceless.

Every dollar spent on transactional advertising makes you money or doesn’t. This is one of the major drawbacks with Transactional advertising. The new customer might have to buy from you multiple times to get a return on your transactional advertising spend to even make it worth it.
Brand advertising investment compounds year after year. The same money you invest today not only may pay you today. It pays long term into the future every time your customer thinks to buy in your niched solution they think of you.
With a proper brand advertisement strategy a dollar invested today can pay you thousands of times over again and again in the future. Simple Transactional advertisement does not produce compounding results like strategic brand advertisement.
It’s Equity That Produces The Compound Of Results.
Your Brands equity is determined by how much value your brand has brought to your community. Your Target Demographic will buy from you based on your brands equity. This is something that goes unseen by most. Brands that win in the long term see the immense value in leveraging and maximizing their equity.

By Strategically partnering with a top marketing agency you build a brand that influences your target market’s decisions based on real world neuroscience data.
Real influence makes a real difference in the long term success of a brand. Building the right brand equity will positively impact your community and your bottomline.
Top Marketing Agencies Understand It’s the Mission & Message that’s Important.
Lots of brands are primarily focused on transactions. They think “how can we make our transactional advertising better to increase our return on ad spend.” This is a never ending cycle. Equivalent to a hamster running on a wheel. You stop spending money. What happens?, NO MORE BUSINESS…
A brand’s mission & message relevantly aligned with your target demographic. This is what creates the proper conditions for long term successful business.

By focusing on your mission and message your marketing efforts will exponentially compound over time. This is the difference between growing at 6% each year. Verse growing 6,000% in 3 years. The brands mission and message are what guide us on how to strategize building a brand’s equity and authority.
Top Marketing Agencies Understand That Brand Authority Creates A Value Gap.

Proper brand positioning as an authority in your space creates a value gap. Value gaps effortlessly produce profits. If you can show your prospective buyer you are the authority you no longer have to sell them. People want to buy from the authorities in their space. Brands (including personal brands) want to do business with other brands that elevate themselves. If association with your brand helps enhance the brand you are working with a partnership is a no brainer.

They say to themselves, “not only am I getting this awesome product or service, I get to show off the fact Im associated with this brand, HOW COOL!”. Just this association brings more capital to your buyers.
To give an example, the brand Rolex. A specific model the day-date has been coined as the presidents watch. The “Presidential” Day-Date Rolex & Rolex Brand itself creates this brand authority subconsciously eluding to prospective buyers that people who ware their products are the Regal, Presidential, Influential, Wining, Industry leading type of people who have excellent refined taste with only the highest standards.

Properly executed brand advertising campaigns produce profits far into the future even after the initial advertisement is long forgotten.
With the right brand authority. People will see you own the product or service and they will now have all these subconscious beliefs about the owner based on the brands authority.

Brand authority benefits your brand by reducing skepticism which cuts the sales process. It helps elevate all other brands you do business with.
Ownership of your brands product or service is a calling card of excellence, which perpetuates the authority cycle, creating additional value gaps for you and your clientele.
Conclusion
When Your Mission and Message are super relevant and properly positioned to your target demographic it creates brand authority and equity. Brand authority and equity are priceless and are the actual “soul” of your business that allows you to build a community.
Businesses in the future will only exist if their Brand has authority and equity in their niche. With an unlimited amount of information at our finger tips we can choose to do business with anyone from anywhere.

For us to buy from a brand we now need more of a reason. The product or service being good is no longer enough.
In this new digital age of buying decisions; consumers want to feel like they are apart of something. By building authority and equity brands can properly Build Influence with their target demographic. This is the winning formula that works today and will continue to work long into the future.
This is definitely what big companies are doing and that’s exactly what I’ve started implementing into my OWN business campaigns, because not only do they work, but it lets me get even more valuable information about what works, it increases my leads and I ultimately make more money. I am an authority figure in one of my other niche business and this is so powerful when building trust. I think this is a great article and I learnt a lot!
Well written post… I love the idea of building a brand through understanding your target audience and building a true missions statement that relates to that audience. Your graphic of Nike’s Just Do It is perfectly placed. So many times people want to be everything for everybody, but truly understanding your audience and targeting that demographic with the right message and missions statement is so huge. And just like you said, everything else, SEO, social media, etc., all fall into place once that message is determined. Great article!
I am still very new in the area of marketing. Your post is really insightful as it enlighten me the difference between a transactional ad and brand advertiseinng. Such idea has never cross my mind before. I think sometimes we are just so focused on the sales ‘right now’ than building a long-term plan for our business.
Thanks for setting my foot at the right path of marketing!
I am wondering if what you are talking about here, applies as well to affiliate marketers who are promoting a variety of things under one niche, and how you would tie it all together to better ‘define’ your brand, in that sense. Any suggestions? i understand what you are saying and i agree with it, i am wondering if it is mostly about offering ‘value’ through your brand, and whichever aspect you are choosing to emphasize within it.
You are totally right about creating a brand that people will trust and want to come back to again and again, and I can see that in my own buying habits. For example, the first computer I ever bought was a Hewlett Packard, and I loved it! That was 20 years ago, and I’ve bought several computers and laptops since then, and they’ve all been HP. I’ve just always had a good experience with them and trust them, so I’ve never even really looked at another brand!
Informative article concerning advertising and creating a brand, truth of the matter is connecting with the audience creating trust in the brand that you believe is the best there is for them. Solving the problem that they are looking for a solution for but gaining their trust either through advertising with a marketing agency or building a brand on your own getting the word out is the most important thing to survival of your brand.
Thank you for this article,
Susan
What an interesting insight. I have never heard of the concept transactional advertising, but I can see how it is not a way to move your business forward. I have heard it said that it is more economical to keep a customer than to continually find a new one and you have confirmed that here with your article. It was very informative. So when you talk about the brand building – what is involved in that?
Thank you
Christene
Hi! Thank you very much for this very interesting post! It has placed things into perspective for me. I must admit that I have started to view branding in a total different light after reading your article. In contrast with transactional advertising, branding can generate revenue for years and years ahead. Undisputedly, branding is a much more efficient way to advertise. Thank you very much!
This was a very interesting take on marketing that really pointed out well the difference between transactional business and the business of building a brand. The data based marketing mentioned for the building of a brand provides a window into how having a long term view can be beneficial for a business.
Marketing agencies that can sell that point of view to their clients are doing them a righteous favor I think. However short term a focus on immediate sales might bring momentary satisfaction, longer term, it really makes sense to not los sight of the importance having brand recognition is.
Making a sale is a great thing. Making many sales over time is a greater thing. It is those businesses that recognize the importance of both that not only stay around, they thrive. There are many examples of this, some of which are mentioned in the article. Companies like Nike, Rolex, Tesla come to mind.
On the other hand, those that have focused mainly on transactional ads have not done so well in many cases. I am thinking Toys R Us, KMart, Sears, etc. They lost the plot and did not do the things necessary to stay in business. Each at one time had that name and brand recognition.
Great write up and food for thought as we all go about the daily regimen of building our businesses. I for one know that although I have to be interested in the transactional side of things (to stay in business), I am well aware of the longer term strategy that has worked so well for some of the big companies out there. Thanks for the insights!
As entrepreneurs and business owners it is important that we create a strong Brand (soul of our business) Brand identity cannot be overemphasised, However doing this is not so easy, It is going to require time, lots of hardwork, Patience and perseverance, I have been there before and I know how it feels
This article is a must read for entrepreneurs all around the world.
Great post and good info.
For building an online business, these kind of marketing agencies are a must.
You can find a lot on the internet yes, but the real stuff won’t be found there and that is very easy to understand why.
They need also to make money, why would they put things on the internet, since it can break them?
Anyway, like I said, having the help of them is a must like you’ve told.
I’ll share this post, since I really like it and it has a lot of must have info in it.
Good day,
I have to say this article was very interesting and informative. You have given me much to think about building a brand authority and equity through brand advertisement instead of focusing on transactions advertising.
I agreed that partnering with Marketing Agency can build a brand that influences your target market’s decisions and make a real difference in the long-term success of a brand that will positively impact your community and your bottom line, profit. But that’s could be costly.
I know that we have to build a brand. This is what people will gravitate to. This is what people will build an organic community on. If you’re just simply pushing information as a commodity. That’s a losing game.
So we have to build a brand through quality content and information that your community and the targeted audience would associate with your business.
All the best to you!
Max
I actually cant wait to read the rest of your site and to learn more about advisight. I agree the brand authority is where it is at,without spending and spending on just one or two time advertising. When you build a brand you are building authority and most importantly trust.
Hello, very interesting article about improving digital marketing results. As I understand, the very important thing is to have a brand which have authority and people have trust in it. That`s definitely good long-term strategy, when people start using one specific brand and they are satisfied with it, they will buy from this brand again and again. Thanks for sharing with us.
We have been running a small food business in the local community for a very long time and my dad wants to expand the brand to other cities. It seems like a daunting task albeit an exciting one, but we don’t know where to start. Should we just open a new branch or test our new market on a smaller scale like a food-truck first?
Any tips from your expertise would be appreciated. Thank you.
Cathy this is very interesting and we love your fathers ambition to grow his successful brand. If You can please do us a favor and Click Here fill out our quick questionnaire. Good explanation of the difference between short term and long term marketing. For businesses that sell goods and services directly I think both kinds of marketing are necessary. The major brands like Coke and Nike are great and marketing their brand and understand that they need to keep their brand at the front of people’s mind to remain industry leaders.
Where it gets a little more difficult is for the local businesses. For them, transactional marketing may be as important as brand marketing. They need to get people in the door and let people know what they offer and how they can meet their needs. The trick would seem to be to make sure the needed transactional marketing also serves to strengthen the company’s brand also. Make sure all marketing builds the brand, even if its goal is get a sale.
Great post, I’ll look forward to seeing more!
Wow, what an interesting read! I don’t know much about marketing, but this has certainly given me a new perspective in how to look at marketing. I just think social media, ppc etc. I like that you’re very specific and educational in the importance of creating a brand, while also looking at the differences between transactional and brand marketing. I have definitely learnt something valuable today. Thank you.
It is really important to start branding yourself as an expert in your field from the beginning, as the more people see your brand the more they will come to know you as the expert in that field.
The big companies all do it, and they all started off small at one stage or another.
Creating trust is what it is all about eventually and that is what brings people back time and time again. Thank you for an insightful article. It’s always good to remind ourselves where we are going with our marketing.
Thank you for this informative post. I totally understand that Brand matters these days and will out run traditional forms of advertising time and time again. Building trust, authority and relationships with our customers is the way to protect them from others who are out to scam. People now are so wary of online mischief and scamming that they look to Brand for reassurance. Once a trusting relationship is developed with both the customer and the business owner, everyone benefits. Integrity is more important than it ever was. It is heart warming to read the explanation about Brand and wonderful to know there are sites like yours that inform people of “how it is today”. Many of the older seniors need to be informed of this topic as the old ways of face to face and done on a handshake are hard to find. Thanks again for a valuable read. I have bookmarked your site for the future.
Brand is one of those word that everyone know but not widely understood. Some of them think that it’s Logo when others think that it’s color palette and slogan.
So yes, understanding those marketing aspect such as, Brand, Advertising, Mission of the brand, Brand authority, is the key to invade the market.
Thanks for your informative post. I appreciated learning the difference between transactional and brand equity advertising. It is, I am supposing, the most basic difference between churning out sales pitch after sales pitch while working the numbers and building a presence that becomes a go-to brand.
To me, the second strategy makes more sense, I am thinking. It seems to me more likely to be a strategy that has built-in staying and growing power.
This is an awesome article, calling our attention to the difference between transactional and brand advertising. There is no doubt that brand advertising is the best and the only way to have a lasting market audience who will always buy from you no matter what. This is because they have developed a trust in your product which nothing could change. This message of brand advertising came to me at the right time when I seem to be in cross road.
I have this question, I am creating a site which can allow affiliate members, can brand advertising work for this site?
Hi,
Wonderful article about marketing strategies for online and any business owners. Targetting demographic audience- this is what new online marketers fail to do. Yours emphasize, Instead of aiming individual sales building, developing a relationship with the buyer in long-term to the demographical audience is true and that is what new online marketers should learn to do. Selecting a broad niche and then struggling to build the brand is the mistake a lot of people do. Nowadays buying in Amazon has become a pride like your example Rolex in the president’s hand. Even my 1st website was a broad niche website and did not have success. Then for the second wesite, I made a niche website and in a short time, it is growing. I plan to do an e-commerce site and I would follow you for branding it.Thanks .P.Prab
Very interesting read! Thank you for putting all this information together! I like the way you put it. It’s very clear and simple. I do have questions… How long does it take to build a brand and how much does it cost? Also, how could we combine both transactional advertising AND brand advertising? Because to be honest, I believe money should be coming in at the same time I am building my brand. What would be the best ways to do that? Thanks!! Nathalie
Wow, as always you covered all the details and Every Single Time I read an article of yours I learn so much new stuff!
I am a full-time blogger and so far I have purely focused on the organic traffic (SEO) and after reading your insightful post I understood its a must to focus on both SEO and Social media to create a brand.
Yes indeed its all about adding more value to our brand and I need to implement the things which I learned from your post.
Your article certainly made me to think more on the subject. Going to work on the Mission, Message and Vision for my site.
Wishing you Great Success!
Paul
This is great and it is worthy to read on. It is true that big brands make use of this and that is exactly what I’m implementing in my line of business. It has been helping to source more data and giving me more information as per what works, how it works and how best to maximize the opportunities. I have developed really well in my chosen niche and I can say I am developing into an authority in the niche too. Thanks
Thanks for this great educative, and inspiring post. There is always a development in digital marketing and business owners who are sensitive, active and quick to improve with this developments grow well. This site is filled with very detailed and impact full strategies to build business. Brand authority and equity Is a very important tool in growing a digital marketing business. This is a full packaged strategy to help boost digital marketing results. Thanks for this value adding review.
You are absolutely right. I work in marketing and I have to say that people like to be in a part of something. Especially when it comes to value such as for a good cause. Look at those fundraising organizations, there is no real tangible products but the contribution will go and help the unfortunate for a good cause. I think as long as you build the brand with a good clear vision, you will have a community that supports you and you can build your business from that.
This is really insightful and I really enjoyed reading every bit of this post. I am quite new to the online business and when I say new I mean months. This idea of making a mission statement and keeping up with it has never crossed my mind. All the time, I am always thinking of making sales. Making use of Rolex and Nike which are big brands as case study helps me relate with what you’re talking about. In the end, I think creating a business that can go the mile is paramount. Thank you for giving a good education here. Cheers!
Thanks for this amazing post I have come to realize that businesses around the world are investing their energies, time and money in growing their revenues online. Digital marketing has penetrated to the most micro levels in the economy, making even small shop owners to create budgets for online promotions, I knew less about digital marketing before now but I must say you have impacted more knowledge on this.
Thanks for this wonderful post. I have had issues with getting a niche because I have been racking my head to get a niche that everyone or majority can relate to freely without stress. I believe being able to relate to ones audience is indeed a very good way to create batter lead and even make some extra cash.
Consumers are increasingly concerned with understanding the “why” and “where” behind the products they buy – it’s no longer enough just to sell the best product for the best price, you’ve really got to put effort into explaining why you’re selling it and where it’s come from, as well as the environmental impact of goods. Consumers are looking for value, not just value for money, but values, and want to connect with brands at an emotional level. Some brands have really caught up with this trend but I think you’re right, the majority still haven’t, and they will increasingly find they’re not getting the return on their investment that they may have received twenty or even ten years ago. Lots of food for thought in your post, thank you for sharing.
What I’ve come to discover about marketing is patience, most people give up before their niche produce the benefits they had put hard work into it. Equity and authority are key ingredients as clients would be drawn by a brand that is more established with a firm standing in the market.
First, I appreciate your in depth explanation about Transactional and Brand Ad. The difference between the two made the whole article clear and understandable. Now I see why it is more important to focus on Brand rather than Transactional. Just a quick question, for those offering a product or service, which marketing agencies could provide a Brand Ad especially for small time online businesses? Is this possible for a small business to gain brand authority? Aside from demographics, what other factor can help to determine the success of a business?
When a brand establishes itself as the authority of a particular niche, it is difficult to contend with it. Yes, the sales process is trimmed down because there’s the trust factor, which is why businesses, big and small, should pay more attention to positioning their brand for long term success. Plenty of individual entrepreneurs fail to grasp this, and that curtails their progress.
This is a great perspective. Thank you for the very informative post. I’m very new to the MMO business and am getting my feet wet. I’ve researched and haven’t yet (until now) learned the importance of transactional ads. I had never heard of it, but you’ve raised some very intriguing points with your research. Thank you for the ideas; I am off to learn more about it right now!
Thanks for this insightful post. The truth is Marketers are mired in data and also Brand equity is very important. Brand equity helps to foster loyalty that builds a bridge between you and your customers. It can’t be broken easily by price discounting by competitors or maybe the occasional product or service bump in the road. It is the quality that helps motivates your customers to recommend their friends or colleagues to you. Nice write-up.
Regards!
This is a very good and informative article. As a new affiliate, I have learned so many things in this article. But the most important thing I learned is about Authority and Equity. I did not know if equity is very important in business especially the online business. Thank you very much, I will pay close attention to all that I have learn’t from this article. All the best

Hi!
A pleasure to have found them surfing the internet.
I undoubtedly consider that a brand identifies and relates commercially to a product or service in the market.
According to your graphics I find it incredible the commercial results that can be achieved by working with a top marketing agency.
The most important thing is that they ensure a niche market with prices that ensure a good profit margin.
Greetings and thank you very much! Claudio
Deeply understanding of these crucial Marketing concepts -Transnational Advertising;Brand Advertising- helps marketers to be more aware of target Customer demands and needs. You have illustrated substantial differences between the Advertising’s meaning and strategies behind it and applying on any business regardless of its size.
We can not merely pay attention to single aspect of marketing and expect to get our desired result. For instance, if you have quality product or service in remote area, it doesn’t mean you will get access to your all desirable customers and make profit along the way. Obviously, you need to be recognized by potential buyers and obtain credibility as well as trust through in any forms of advertisement.
Thanks for your helpful article
Hi there,
I thoroughly enjoyed your post.
It woke me up from inside. It is rejuvenating.
You have provided a powerful self-cure with laser-precise writing.
I loved that two words-Putrefaction and Spiritization, which I carry away from this blog for a long time in my heart.
It is a high impact blog which will help many. Thank you.
